This drum is TERRIBLE! I bought this a few months ago to replace an original Brother drum that failed years later. The replacement IMMEDIATELY started smearing and spattering the toner onto the top of the paper (never had a problem with the old drum). I was preparing to move and haven't had time to mess with it for months (I just used my other printer instead). Now that I finally have time to play around with it, I've tried cleaning the drum (didn't work), tried putting in a brand new cartridge (didn't work), etc. The same toner is dripping in the same places. . This is clearly a cheap drum. Save your money (and your printer)!
