Review on πŸ”§ Browning WSPBR10353 5/8 NMO Mount Magnet,Black - Enhanced Signal Performance for Easy Antenna Mounting by Hector Mak

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The description is confusing but the mount is top notch

This is actually a Browning Browning WSPBR 1035 3 5/8 NMO magnetic mount. The label is incorrect and somewhat confusing as Browning/Tram makes both 3 1/4" and 3 5/8" mounts, the latter being stronger. They also make even larger mounts. Just don't install a huge spike or a very heavy antenna on it. Straight pull pull force is 100 lbs. So the title is a bit confusing and incorrect. This is an exceptional quality NMO mount with a rubber boot on the bottom to protect it from scratches or rusting. Just make sure the surface you mount it on is PERFECTLY flat and clean first. The cable is also ideal as it is 17 feet longer than most and is not RG58 U which is a rigid solid conductor found on cheap or fixed mounts but RG58 A/U which is a stranded conductor making it flexible. don't break after a few turns. The PL259 connector is of good quality with a long rubber boot so it doesn't flex at the connector either. All in all the best magnetic NMO mount I have ever seen. Buy a rain cap so you can unscrew the antenna and protect the mount when driving through car washes, driveways, and garages, and you're good to go.
