It worked great as an upgrade for my existing power line. I removed the old cord, reconnected the internal wiring to the new outlet, and installed a new plug at the end of the removed cord. Any instructions or helpful tips on how to attach the yellow protective cover would be GOOD. I cut off the end where it lay next to the cable, it was very difficult for me to get the cable into the yellow cover (and keep a tight fit). Connecting the connector was easy, but fitting the yellow cap onto the black ring connector was a real challenge. But it works great and is much easier to use.
