you get what you pay for, and in this case the 16U desktop version is no exception. It came with good gear and was well packaged. It's heavy duty and just what I was looking for in a solid desktop rack. I liked that it's a vertical rack and not a sloping back like most desktop racks, plus it's taller than most like 16U. Just multiply 1.75 inches by the U number and you'll get a good idea of the height. The only minor catch will be that the fasteners are silver instead of black. Includes black rail/rack mount hardware with nice washers. In my case I had other hardware so I was able to assemble everything with the black screws. You can also use some black rackmount screws to mount the rack, so it doesn't matter or it's worth removing the star. As can be seen from the photos, the assembly equipment is also silver. It has good workmanship and good quality. 350 pound rated equipment weight. Nice setup for my needs!
