I am 76 years old and have used B&D products my entire life. Bought this dehumidifier for my car and garage in Florida to remove moisture during the Ohio summer months. I bought this more expensive model because it had a pump and timer. I was very disappointed to learn that the timer needs to be reset every 24 hours. Obviously a design flaw for those wanting to drain barns, warehouses or other buildings while away. The only way is to let it run continuously 24 hours a day. I bought Black & Decker's reputation only to find out they are now owned by Westinghouse.
