There are better kettles out there
Well to start with I ordered a black kettle and it came in blue which really doesn't suit my kitchen but I really wanted and use a kettle so I have it keep for myself. I was surprised to learn that the wood was a rubbery material and did not feel heat resistant at all, which you can see from the photos this is not the case. It works great, down to the melted tip of the whistle, but I'm definitely upset, it's not what I expected.
