I've also used some at night with socks on my feet and on elbows and knees. No stickiness or smell. When you apply a little it's almost a gel but it almost melts into your skin. As if from the warmth of my hands, it becomes almost liquid, but not in a liquid state. If you take out a little and leave a spot on, after a while everything will be smooth again. I did not do it. yet, but in summer it would probably be great straight from the fridge. Also, I have sensitive, blemish-prone skin and haven't had any of that stuff yet! Hooray!
