This item is excellent in HVAC to detect the temperature when the load is adjusted for superheat or subcooling. It is great for batch units or splits. Most of the time I use a pipe clamp on the sensors, but I usually have to use a pipe clamp on the block units due to the airflow at the condenser. Yes, this price is a bit high, but in my field of activity almost everything. When it comes to Cooper-Atkins gear, you get what you pay for.
