This item is excellent in HVAC for sensing the temperature when setting the load for .

This item is great in HVAC for temperature detection when setting superheat or subcool charge. It is great for batch units or splits. Most of the time I use a pipe clamp on the sensors, but I usually have to use a pipe clamp on the block units due to the airflow on the condenser. Yes, this price is a bit high, but in my field of activity almost everything. When it comes to Cooper-Atkins gear, you get what you pay for.

PURCHASES 3 haven't lasted long enough.

UPDATE: A THIRD ONE WAS PURCHASED on March 18, 2021 and stopped working yesterday. SO ANNOYING! The product works but for the price the last one didn't work while we thought another should be bought hopefully this one will last longer. Update: The second one no longer works. They must last longer than 7 months. 6 months and now 4 months.

This item is excellent in HVAC to detect the temperature when the load is adjusted for superheat or subcooling. It is great for batch units or splits.
