This item is great in HVAC for temperature detection when setting superheat or subcool charge. It is great for batch units or splits. Most of the time I use a pipe clamp on the sensors, but I usually have to use a pipe clamp on the block units due to the airflow on the condenser. Yes, this price is a bit high, but in my field of activity almost everything. When it comes to Cooper-Atkins gear, you get what you pay for.
