Super easy for remotes and accessories
I bought this a few years ago as a backup just in case. Finally the day came when my remote control stopped working because the battery in it exploded. I threw those away, put batteries in this new remote and started googling the codes. I started hitting random buttons after about 15 minutes trying to figure out how to program this. My TV is on! I've spent all this time going through silly codes and TV models to find out that all you have to do is press the power button. It automatically connects to the TV.
