The signal quality of my CISCO 4g router has improved from 51-54% to 61-71% according to the router. The idea is that you have more flexibility in antenna placement, so you're more likely to get a slightly better signal. My speed has also increased a bit. I mean, on a good day I had a similar speed; it's just that the number of "good days" has gone from 10% of the days to 90% of the days. It all depends on your specific location in terms of your towers, but in my case it was worth a try. I seem to be a few miles from the nearest tower.
