Review on ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Curved Glass Insert Round Metal Hanging Candle Lantern by Christina Brown

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Interesting design; I like convex glass; arrived with small defects; lasted 18 months outdoors

I love the curved glass panes, but one of them popped out (not broken) when I turned the lantern on its side. I had to bend back the metal tabs holding all the glass panes (not a problem, but the buyer shouldn't have to do that). A lower corner is badly bent. I used pliers to gently bend it back into shape. The client should not do this either. These defects were not related to delivery problems; it was a quality control issue. The lantern looks great on my stump table in the garden. I know it will rust sooner or later (it's not aluminum or stainless steel), but I don't mind. I'll be buying something different next year and maybe saving the glass panels for a project. After 18 months outdoors, under a slightly sheltered tree, the lantern had become a rusty colossus. It literally fell apart when I picked it up at the top of the ring. I have cleaned up and stored the glass pieces although I have no idea what to do with them.
