Review on Samsung DG34 00025A Switch Membrane by Ryan Draper

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Exactly the same as the original, original part.

Like original. Unfortunately, that also means it's a layer of plastic and circuitry that will separate and crack over time if you're heating pots and pans on the rear burners next to it, which is why I've deducted a star. Good glue, small holes to align the new one. Used a heat gun (hair dryer for those who don't have one) to soften the glue on the old one to loosen it from the metal backing plate, came off easily with a metal spatula. Update 1.5 years later: ok, so it was 1.5 years later and again the buttons don't give a boost. I even applied a small bead of silicone sealant along the bottom edge to prevent surface condensation from dripping onto the bottom edge during the final install. I hope SAMSUN and the rest of the industry come up with a better solution than these flimsy control membranes.
