My vacuum sealer is a Foodsaver V4400, for reference because some models have different features and use different bags. I have some OEM bags to compare the Ticent ones too, and the Ticent ones are a bit thinner. They feel slightly thinner, and the texture is a little bit different inside. Still, so far these are working just fine. They came without a lot of fuss, but also without any instructions or info on the bags. The listing says they are washable so they can be reused, but I don't feel confident in reusing them even if I am cooking things through thoroughly to 165F.Unfortunately, this type of plastic isn't recyclable so I try to be mindful when cutting my roll. You get to create your own bag size so I always err just a little bit on the larger size without going overboard. My sealer seals the ends with an auto sensor, so I seal the bottom, fill, and then use the machine to vacuum and seal the top. The seals seem slightly thinner than OEM, but none have came back open so far in my tests. There's 100 feet total for just $14, and I can usually get 110-130 bags out of 100 feet. That makes my cost per seal just $0.11 or so, but it's much better than throwing out produce or meat and being wasteful.I have a chest freezer and standup freezer. My chest freezer hard freezes to -10F so I don't stress freezer burn so much because it's a hard freeze and I'm rarely in there. My stand up freezer only goes down to about 5F or a little higher and I worry more about freezer burn because I am in that one frequently. Vacuum sealing cuts down on burn tremendously and so far, I'm happy with these. They're just thinner and a little different textured than OEM. Would get again.
