My beloved mid 2011 11" MacBook Air (which I bought from Best Buy in January 2012) has been working fine for years, with one problem: the 128GB SSD was too small and kept filling up, which forced me to delete or dump files on an external hard drive. I've previously replaced the battery, so I don't know why I never thought of replacing the SSD. It was very easy to do. The included instructions are decent, but if you want more details, there are instructions on how to replace an SSD in one of these computers on Youtube and other sites. I then restored my computer from this morning from a Time Machine backup on an external hard drive and it's exactly the same except now I have plenty of disk space. Hooray.
