Review on Madison Electric Products MSB1G Adjustable Electrical Box by Adam Bates

They are very strong

Sorry for the long review. This is probably the most durable old work box on the market and the price is cheap! This is great for an outlet that you need to constantly plug and unplug, like in the kitchen, bathroom, or on a desk, as it attaches to the stud with those amazingly long screws. Installation Tip: Insert two small screws. from the light switch or outlet to the top and bottom holes so you have something to hold on to while you screw the screws into the rack. If you are not careful you could lose your box in the wall cavity. Also make sure they are flush or slightly recessed into the drywall. There are many repairs for an outlet that is below the level of the drywall, but if it protrudes even slightly from the drywall, it becomes problematic when you put the switch plate cover on and there is a gap. If you try to fit a GFCI in this box, things will be difficult. I tried plugging in one of those outlets that also has USB ports and it did NOT fit in the box. Not only was there too many wires or too many wire nuts, it just didn't fit in this box because the outlet was so big. Finally, the integrated wire clamps are extremely aggressive. Once you've pulled the wire into the box, you can't push any wire back into the wall. I took a small screwdriver and pried the clips out of the box. Yes, I know I shouldn't be doing this, but I had to route some of the cord back into the wall to make room for the outlet I was installing.
