I bought these because they were recommended instead of dish sponges (Epicurious Mag). I don't think they're particularly good at it. However, they are great vegetable peeling brushes - something that makes Covid19 more important than before. In this review I was asked to rate them on thickness, ease of use and ergonomics - none of which makes sense to me. They are great for peeling vegetables. They don't have a handle, so you grab the bristles on one side and peel the vegetables on the other side. The bristles have good rigidity. They're soft enough to peel easily and firm enough that I don't press them too hard into the veggies. The bristles have not broken or fallen out yet (about a month of use). Love the little ring I can use to hang them (with a shower hook, on a string over my sink so they can dry. I'm glad I bought them but I wonder what people smoked at Epicurious have when they recommended them to eat!
