I've been doing aquarium maintenance for a few years, I used to be able to buy this filter at the local aquarium store until it's no longer sold, this is a great filter material, it has 2 different filter levels, white (the one that goes face up) to catch larger particles and green to catch smaller particles. Another feature I love about this filter is that it holds together very well and can be washed multiple times before throwing away, saving you money and helping the environment.
