Review on EasyGoProducts EasyGo Travel Beach Umbrella For Cruise, Airplane, Train And Small Car by Justin Kautzman

Good first impression, but.

I really liked the concept, so I bought two of those. Very portable, small, light and good shade. I loved them initially, they looked well made. However, they did not resist the first day on the beach. The hollow aluminum poles are too fragile. See picture. The bottom sections of both umbrellas bent easily as well as one of the middle sections. One of them, the spikes got stuck. I can’t unscrew it.It thought initially that the umbrellas did a great job along the day, resisting to considerable strong wind blows, until I started packing them up to leave. When I pulled the poles out of the sand they were in a bad shape. As my return period expired, I wish I could replace these sections. It would be better if the bottom sections were made with solid aluminum, not hollow, for resistance as this is the part under more stress.By the way, the umbrella frame is made of plastic and not from steel as the description suggests. I don’t think it is a bad thing as plastic provides more flexibility to fight winds and don’t rust.

Pros
  • It provides ample shade for at least two people, so you can relax comfortably even on the hottest days.
Cons
  • Difficult maneuvering in places where other beach equipment is set up
