The ambient air thermometer is accurate, but the EMF is not.
I don't know if it could be due to a bad device but when I opened the box and started sweeping objects meant to emit high EMF it showed almost nothing so I went for a Parallel comparison with my GQ EMF-390 on my laptop keyboard. This device read somewhere in the 0.3 to 1.7 mG range, while the GQ-390 gave alarms in the 200 to 270+ mG range. I will be returning this unit because while the ambient thermometer works fine, the EMF is very, very far away.
