I am a night owl so I tend to sleep in and I am sensitive to morning light, like a vampire. Plus,my room is drafty around the window and my bed is right next to it. So, I have these Wontex blackout curtains up next to the window and a second pair of curtains on the outside for color.I bought one of those double curtain rods. I never knew they existed! So now my bedroom is dark, even during the day and I can sleep it.The Wontex curtains are thick and well-made. I bought the white ones because my second/outer pair is blue and my room is blue so I thought the white would look ok with the blue. It does.I don't know how much cold air these block because I feel my room is still cool, even with the second curtains. But if you're wanting to darken your room, these work pretty well.
