Review on Lifestance by David Mills

The Disappointing Reality of Life

Lifestance is an e-commerce platform that promotes itself as a one-stop-shop for all of a woman's beauty and grooming requirements. Unfortunately, dealing with the business was a negative experience for me. To begin, they lie about the quality of their goods. Their skincare products are no better than what you'd find in a drugstore, and their shaving and hair removal instruments aren't much better. I was hoping for more for the amount I was charged. Second, their support for existing customers is unimpressive. It took me a few tries to reach out to customer service about a problem I was having with a purchase. When I did, they were completely useless and insensitive. Finally, the emphasis that Lifestance places on women's empowerment and self-love is merely a sales pitch. No options for personalization or customization of their goods are available. It's obvious that profit is their primary worry, rather than satisfying their customers. Overall, my time with Lifestance was not positive. Their dedication to advancing women in the workplace is questionable, as is the quality of their products and customer care. In my opinion, this is not a reliable source for high-quality cosmetics and toiletries.

Pros
  • Prices that are not prohibitive
Cons
  • Some products might not be suitable for people with different skin conditions.
