When you redeem one of their $10 coupons at a $30 discount, you get THIS huge "value pack" PLUS ANOTHER twin pack of 12 ounce jars - totaling 96 ounces of pearls - priced at about $24. This equates to $3 for a 12-ounce can. And the same manufacturer of these beads is selling the same product (under an unknown brand) in BigLots, again at $3 per jar. So their price here online is about 50% higher than on the shelves. I switched to these blue Airwick pop up cone balloons because I thought the balloons were so much better. per dollar than those little hard pop up Airwick cones. But in hindsight, these balls really are NOT very good at emitting scent across the room. You practically have to stick your nose in the glass to get a smell. The real scent is pleasant enough. They evaporate within about four weeks. I've recently switched to hard gel jars, specifically the Up&Up brand (you know where they sell them). They cost $3.49 for a 12-ounce can. But boy, they light up the whole room with scent. And the scent stays. So that's the way to go - with hard gel crucibles, not those beaded crucibles. And jars last just as long as jars with pearls. Now I look back and feel like I've spent a lot of money on blue pearl jars all these years without realizing that they emit very little fragrance.
