Great sound quality, ease of use, features, amazing!

After looking for a DAC for iPhone and iPad for some time I almost bought FiiO but another review led me to this device. I LOVE that I can plug it directly into my iPad Pro with the included USB-C cable and get a clean, uncompressed signal! You don't need an Apple adapter if you have USB-C ports. I use a lightning to USB adapter on my iPhone and it works great too. The software that comes with the device is great and allows you to customize almost everything. I set it up to turn on and connect instantly when I plugged it into my iPad without fiddling or even touching the power button. The same on the iPhone. It also works just as well with my Macbook Pro. The software allows you to control the device via Bluetooth even if it is connected to another device via USB OR Bluetooth! This way I can connect the device to my iPad via Bluetooth, stream and play on my iPhone with device settings, equalizer, etc. Unfortunately, there's no iPad version of the control software, but that doesn't really matter as I didn't play around with it much after setting it up. Bluetooth also works great and connects easily, and the sound quality is great if you have a device that also broadcasts one of the high quality codecs like APT-X HD or LDAC. iDevices only broadcast the AAC codec, which is good, but not that "good". I have an LDAC encoder that I'm going to hook up to my iPad and stream to the same and we'll see if there's a noticeable difference. FWIW, I'm not dissatisfied with AAC streaming as it already sounds pretty good. However, connecting directly via USB as a DAC makes a noticeable difference in sound depth, clarity and clarity. Compare connecting quality headphones directly to your phone versus using them as a DAC and you'll be glad you bought them. It has enough power to drive my B&O headphones at full volume when my iPhone alone was at max volume and they were barely loud enough. too light to accidentally squeeze when handling
