Works well. Please note this applies to JK Wranglers 2011 and up AND soft tops released in 2011 and up. I had an older (2010 I think) top with different underwires on my 2014 JKU. Old brackets were replaced from my old top with a newer premium OEM top (2014 onwards) and the brackets were not working with the top frame. So these brackets fit perfectly. You will need M6 (6mm) x 1 x 25mm screws. You can order the standard models but any hardware store has them, I got mine at Lowe's for less than $2 a pair. onto the plate on the hood frame, then screw the top hole of this bracket into the vehicle frame (continue with the other screws from there). It was difficult to push the bracket onto the car frame when the bracket was fully bolted to the top. Please note this is only one side, you need to order the other side if you need both.
