I already have some rather expensive pyrography crayons that were unfortunately left at a country house some distance away and I found the need for "wood burning" for a gift. Of course I could use a less complete set. However, given the many possibilities this set offers, from branding to soldering, pattern transfer and simple pyrography, to relatively durable and compact storage, it makes sense to purchase. Some things I really liked, the 3-position slide switch (off/medium/high) that allows you to toggle the hot iron with one hand, font samples. Variety of tips included, choice of additional branded tips for purchase. I found this tool comfortable for a fairly lengthy pyrography session, although this type of "pen" is certainly not as convenient for complex work as it is more costly. , it does its job well thanks to its relatively cool and comfortable grip.
