No screen protector makes it useless

Unfortunately the case lip does NOT protrude beyond the screen so it DOES NOT PROTECT the screen. When you lay your phone face down, your screen touches the surface, not the case. I'm upset because the measurements show there is a lip. no (I bought a turquoise case.) I'll be back. It's a shame, because otherwise that's exactly what I like about the case.
