First I used them as a guest at someone's place for dinner and I had to eat them! Very strong magnetic force. I'm told they even survived being washed in the dishwasher! Not long ago I was given rubber markers that stuck to the outside of the glass but soon fell off the glass. At first I thought they were used for stemless glasses, and then I realized how silly it is to use each glass for a cocktail or milk ;) a glass for that matter.
