These pants are very thick, very warm. But they are huge in the seat area, with a very large drop under the crotch. They seem designed for a very fat person. If warmth is all you care about, it's yours. If you want to look good, then this is not the case. I usually wear medium or large. Small might fit in better, although I've never worn small since elementary school.
