This adapter works a lot better than I thought it would. There were so many wireless devices in our house that none worked properly. I used this and a small switch to connect our entertainment center devices (TV, Blu-ray, Xbox and satellite box) via ethernet to take some of the strain off our wireless network. It works so well that I regret wasting a year trying to keep our house wireless! I doubted this would work as our house is divided into two electrical nodes from the main node, each powering a separate switchboard. My living room is on a completely different switch block than the sockets next to my router. But it works perfectly, even in this configuration! I just followed the instructions and after about 2 minutes of work I had an ethernet connection to my entertainment center. Our other wireless devices have more room to work efficiently, and the ethernet connection to the TV means streaming seems a lot more stable than before. The next step is to host another one in my desktop office. It's certainly better than the ubiquitous cable!
