I have had scalp and resulting hair health issues for several years. The sebum production seemed out of control — my hair was always greasy and oily for 24 hours after a shower, even if I wasn't exercising or anything. It honestly irritated and dried out my skin everywhere I showered everyday just to keep my hair in order. It helped a lot. I have very thick long hair and it's a bit difficult to work it all the way to the scalp, so I wet my hair first and iron it out as best I can, starting in the middle and working my way down to the ends. I use this about every two weeks (when I started I did this for the first 3 showers, then every other shower for the next two weeks, then once a week for 3 weeks and now every other). I combined it with H&S Supreme Nourish and Smooth and my hair has never felt so full of life. He returned his texture, color and became much lighter and softer. The only reason I can't bring myself to give this 5 stars is that while it has worked for me and worked really well, I still think it is overpriced for the size. The monetary value isn't quite there, but I can't shy away from something that has greatly improved my hair and scalp.
