Review on Endurax Backpack Photography Compartments Cameras by Chad Michels

Revainrating 4 out of 5

After my trip to Arizona

I bought this bag because I wanted something smaller/lighter than my Lowepro camera bag (which only has a shoulder strap). This Canvas Endurax backpack was just what I needed for my week long trip through the Arizona mountains. I've used it for day trips and it had my Canon 5D Mk iii, a telephoto lens, a wide angle lens, my 2x teleconverter, various items (cleaners etc) in it and I was able to conveniently carry a travel tripod and a bottle of water throughout the trip. . I was a bit concerned if he could handle such a weight. Things like this usually tear at the weakest seam. I still had room at the top of my bag for gloves, hats etc so I had my hands free to shoot or just hike. One day I opened the bag with the larger opening and almost forgot to put it in when my camera lenses fell out. Luckily nothing was damaged (my fault). The Endurax backpack isn't big enough to replace my camera bag, but despite the weight of all the gear, it was comfortable to walk around in all day. I also like the way it looks - looks less like a camera bag! I'm a big guy with big shoulders and chest but the arm straps were adjustable and very comfortable. I found the chest strap too high and rubbed my neck so I didn't use this feature.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Some difficulties
