Review on 💨 High-Speed SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C 64GB Flash Drive: Fast Data Transfer (SDCZ450-064G-G46), Black & Silver by Chris Hayes

Not sure I recommend this one. I thought the other reviewers who complained about the heat were exaggerating, but unfortunately they weren't. I can't believe how hot it's getting! It literally melted part of my duvet that accidentally came in contact with the top of the drive (a duvet with a polyester lining). Really challenges a potential security issue; If I hadn't smelled the burning smell, it could have caught fire. The plastic bottom is also hot, but the metal top is very hot! I bought this drive for my new MacBook Pro. I needed a compact flash drive that didn't require an adapter. In the last 10 years I have bought many USB sticks. This flash drive is incredibly slow for a USB 3 model, actually reminds me of the slow performance of the first models 10 years ago. In terms of heat, this flash drive will literally burn your skin. To be honest I didn't know a flash drive could get that hot. I've definitely felt warm/hot sticks before, but nothing like that. Great idea but poor execution, too slow and too hot. Unfortunately this is my first negative experience with Sandisk, they usually have great products.
