It did exactly what I had in mind. I installed an MBRP exhaust on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee HEMI 5.7 and hated the resonance between 1500 and 2300 rpm. The drone gave me a headache. I installed it in the exhaust pipe in front of the tip. I welded it on and left the other end with a clip so I can take the system apart if needed. Really easy installation. It reduced resonance by 60-70% which is about what I expected from a 3 inch exhaust. Nothing will completely cut it unless you upgrade to a quieter muffler. I am happy. The quality seems to be good. burn out like others have said. On the other hand, I didn't use them as a silencer.
