The X99 PCH appeared to be running an old BIOS with no support for 16GB memory modules. I had to find an updated BIOS for the firmware in order for the system to boot with this kit. Not a product complaint but definitely something important to consider before you buy. Check support and compatibility. You may have to do some hard work to get your system to accept the phrase. I'm sure that will change as these high capacity kits last longer.
