HUMOR: Yes, they are SELF, and we've read all these "jokes" a million times. BUT sometimes you just have to know that it's okay to laugh at delicious food and wear stretchy pants. MATERIAL: The material looks weird, my husband didn't like it at all. I was on the fence until I used them. These absorb water. They work better than my cotton towels. There is no doubt that these towels are best for drying hands or dishes. WASHING: I wash them along with other kitchen towels in hot water with a little bleach because, hey, if something is going to dry my dishes that we eat with, they have to be sterile. They come out of the dryer like new. If you fold it right away, it won't wrinkle. DESIGN: These are the best design towels. The designs are on one side so all you have to do is fold them in half and then in half again and you can see the design when hanging. Most towel designs sit in the middle third, making them difficult to fold. I appreciate that they are placed on one side so all I have to do is fold them in half and then in half again and the design will show. Light!
