they last about a month. if my kids don't lose them first

Every family has one thing their kids go through for reasons unknown like water. For our nine children it is toothbrushes. They get lost endlessly, and when their friends sleep more than half the time, they forget their toothbrush. Although I put the toothbrushes I find through the dishwasher and return them to the owner (we write names on them with permanent markers), it's easy to get lost despite the many tracking systems, and I'm tired of spending $25 a month. to replace toothbrushes so I ordered them. Overall, these toothbrushes are better than I thought for the price. They're not of the same quality as the branded ones or even the regular ones you get at the grocery store, but they're acceptable. I would say they are medium but they soften with use and with my younger children I rub the bristles before opening the package to soften them a bit. They last about a month, after which the bristles begin to bend and fall out so badly that they need to be replaced. For our family they are amazing. I like that the pens have flat white areas where I can write a name. They're grippy enough for younger kids to hold, although in my experience kids under 5-6 have trouble using them because they're too big. I want them to do the same in kid size. I still buy baby size toothbrushes for the little ones and pick them up when they're done, which I don't want to do for older kids who often stay up late.
