Review on Company Animals Headcollar Adjustable Training by Lorena Salazar

Recommended for anyone with a puller

This is by far my favorite way to walk a large pulling dog. In the past I suffered both body and ego trauma using a standard flat collar or even a chain collar when my large (100lb) Doberman Pinscher decided to chase a squirrel on my front yard seconds before I knew his intentions ! He was literally able to pull the rug out from under me and pull me across the concrete. I found Halti and it ended my neighborhood squirrel's scare. I was no longer at the mercy of my big best friend's speed, agility and strength! Halti works on the same principle as a horse head harness, allowing a smaller person to handle a larger animal with ease. I couldn't believe how easy it was to keep my big guy in line! As he pulled, the strap tightened under his chin through the O-ring, holding his head in place, on the heel. He quickly realized that the pulling was uncomfortable and would stop immediately. When he stopped pulling, the o-ring released the strap and the strap loosened. When he was fine, the dishes didn't bother him at all. It works amazing! I've also used it to let me ride my bike while my dog walked alongside my bike. I attached the leash to the bar under the seat. Haven't used this on a small dog yet, but I think it's a lot better than having the dog choke by pulling.
