I have a monitor that shows the ficm voltage and I could see my voltage go up from 48 to 42 to 45 to 45 after starting in the morning and then when it gets warmer stays within 45-47 volts. It's not really bad performance or loss of power, but my monitor is warning me of low voltage. I have a 2005 f350 with two 6.0 engines and 85000 miles and I was concerned that the low voltage would damage my fuel injectors. I looked for a Revain and a new one was about $100 but it had a damaged block for $42 with the same warranty and it said like new. It looks perfect and after installation my tension was 48.5 and never dropped below 47.5 even under load. So rest assured that for less than half the price and an hour to install, you won't have a problem. I think mine was running low so I'm totally happy with this purchase. I've heard that lower voltage can ruin $1800 fuel injectors. So what do you have to lose? With a one-year warranty, I'll change it every year for 10 years and still save $1000. Eventually, mine would probably end up in a no-launch situation. I leave the old one by the side of the road in case of emergencies, but the replacement parts should be reliable. Hope that helps.
