Before you begin, make sure you have the right tools and fixtures.
Start with the right tools. After the old ones were removed it was great to install the new ball joints. Be sure to purchase new (3 per joint) 12mm x 1.25 class 8 nuts, or at least use threadlock to hold the assembly together. Now the SUV is perfectly controllable.
