The right tool for the job.
This is a very expensive plastic tool from Shimano that can be used to remove/tighten the lightly tightened plastic crank preload bolt on some Shimano cranks, but it is the right tool for the job which is why it needs knock- Off version at a much lower price that probably works just as well but feels better when you get an authentic product.
