Looks and works like a USB charger. In fact, it charges my smartphone without warning of insufficient performance or incompatibility. Pay attention to the included accessories; I've bought some of these items in the past for other things, but they are included in the box: micro USB/iPhone combo charger, micro SD/USB adapter, USB extension cable, and reset pin (doubles as SIM card pin). It is equally important to note that a microSD card is NOT included and must therefore be purchased separately. The app was basic but easy to install and use. I'm not sure why it got bad reviews. Following the installation guide, I set it up in about a minute. Since the camera is a USB charger, you really have to think about where you're putting it to keep it useful. Advice. If you want to use it to charge your devices, plug it into a wall with a USB port underneath so the cables don't block the camera!
