I bought this because I like that it's ceramic, has a plastic travel lid and I thought it would go in a cup holder in the car fit or at least snag over the edge because of the grip. The plan was to leave the heating pad at work and bring coffee from home every day. Well, the handle broke on the first ride. The $10 special ceramic glue didn't work. The mug without a handle was too hot to hold. So another pile of money was spent after I found a comparable size/shape mug with a handle that fit this concave heating pad. I left one mug at work and brought coffee from home in another travel mug. Big. worked fine for a week. Now the greenhouse doesn't work. It was an expensive rabbit hole I fell down, but I really wanted a ceramic travel mug with no silicone coating. Now I have to buy a cup warmer.
