Great value optical drive! Remember this is for USB 2.0. I bought it with my NZXT S340 case as there are no internal drive slots in this case. It worked great when I bought a USB 2.0 port on the back for this case. Since I was building a brand new system, I couldn't reinstall Windows from this CD or a USB stick because I kept getting the "Missing Windows optical driver" error. All ports in the above case are USB 3.0 ports. So by purchasing this optical drive along with the USB 2.0 packaging panel, I was able to install Windows quickly and easily. The drive works well, still works perfectly. No problems or fears!
