Low battery on FOB from my message center

Programming a new key fob into my Pontiac G6 was easy. Just follow the instructions on the programmer and you're done. The problem I have is that my radio message center says the battery is low for the FOB. Well, we put 2 different NEW batteries in FOB. still speaks. FOB still works, even through the parking garage. So for now, just clear the message center and move on.
