Review on πŸ’‘ Sunco Lighting Dimmable Bathroom Vanity Fixture by Jeff Labore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Continue slowly, otherwise perfect!

I had energy saving light bulbs in my bathroom that didn't last long. Once one burned out I was on the lookout for an upgrade to LED. First I tried, the ones I tried were transparent and had a color temperature of 5000k. The light was too blue and harsh, especially before bed. I then tried soft white LED bulbs (2700k) and they looked too orange. Pooh. Then I came across these lamps. At 4000K they are perfectly white, neither too warm nor too cold. I also like that plastic ball instead of clear glass. I think the coating helps diffuse the light better than clear glass. I only have one complaint about them: they take too long to turn on. When you turn on the switch, the lights will turn on after one second. They turn on at full brightness as soon as they actually turn on (so they don't have to warm up), but the lag is a bit annoying. I figured it was the dimmer I was using (and the old analogue style) so I switched to a TP-Link HS220 and even with that the lamps do the same. The good news is that I don't have any issues with dimming and flickering. I really love these bulbs, I just don't like the lag.
