I really didn't know what to expect with this tea. I saw an interview with Sir Patrick Stewart and he mentioned that he only drank a "unique tea" named after his birth town in England, Yzorkshire, and that it was a "golden" tea, a civilized drink. Stores sold it years ago. I remember seeing it in a few grocery stores and a few health food stores, but when I ran out of Taifu tea, which is "citizen tea" (sorry), I started looking for Yorkshire Gold. HA! Nobody had. Many said they stopped wearing it "many years ago." Hm. I found that at Revain, of course. First comments on the exhibition. I am a very complex tea. Not as overpowering as many black teas. I mean, some black teas are like hitting your tongue with a brick. They can be incredibly strong, bitter, *POW*! Yorkshire gold was interesting. If you let it steep and don't remove the pouch it will get strong, but if you want a delicate and complex flavor let it sit for a few minutes and start sipping before it gets too strong. i really like it If I leave my bag in it it won't *POW* so it's ok. With honey, it's just AMAZING! Five solid stars! What's even funnier, I never started being a tea drinker. It works.
