Tasteless and tasteless

Our family is from England my husband is from Yorkshire and we can safely say this is not the taste of real Yorkshire Gold tea. True Yorkshire Gold Tea has a beautiful deep golden red color with a strong malty flavor. This tea is tasteless and weak, almost tasteless, the color is light brown. Either this isn't the real Yorkshire Gold, or the scent is customized for the US market.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • boring packaging

Spiffing Brit brought me here.

First of all, I'm not a tea lover, I'm more of a coffee lover. I happened upon one of The Spiffing Brit's videos and I swear to god I couldn't stop thinking about tea, not just any tea, I needed Yorkshire tea! A refreshing sip of Yorkshire tea is enough to bring a skeleton back to life.” Was I like For Realz?! BAMM! Bought 3 boxes of tea! He promised to give up coffee! Yorkshire Tea for Life! So, back to reality, I just had a cup of Yorkshire tea in the Gold Blend version and it tastes similar.

Pros
  • Like all of them before
Cons
  • Good, but not great

It's not the same: Drinks

I wish I had read the questions and reviews before ordering a box of 160 packs. I thought I was crazy because the tea seemed weak. After reading everything, I don't seem to be alone. Yorkshire Gold is my favorite tea. I've been drinking it for over 20 years and I love it so much I can't drink any other tea. The box of 160 sachets is no longer the same, I already ordered this tea from Revain and everything was fine. but I ordered a can. After reading what others have said, the 40-bag box and jar

Pros
  • Wow

I personally think it might be the best tea in the world

I personally think it might be the best tea in the world. Growing up near Harrogate, a pot of Yorkshire Gold on a tea tray was part of everyday life. My day still starts with a strong mug of Yorkie Gold (with milk and sugar) and dip in homemade buttered toast. The tastes and smells of Yorkshire home reach Dallas, Texas as I take my first tentative sip of steaming hot tea from a mug. When our pastor or someone else from the church visits me occasionally, I make myself a kettle of loose tea…

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • It makes me nervous

The taste is REALLY different!

I really didn't know what to expect with this tea. I saw an interview with Sir Patrick Stewart and he mentioned that he only drank a "unique tea" named after his birth town in England, Yzorkshire, and that it was a "golden" tea, a civilized drink. Stores sold it years ago. I remember seeing it in a few grocery stores and a few health food stores, but when I ran out of Taifu tea, which is "citizen tea" (sorry), I started looking for Yorkshire Gold. HA! Nobody had. Many said they stopped wearing…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Protection

bee knees! crushing! (Good)

I'm originally British but have lived in Houston, Texas for over 20 years so I'm Texan Brit now. I've been drinking 16 ounces of "British Tea" (with milk and sugar) every morning for at least five years; As I am currently working from home due to the pandemic, I sometimes eat TWO 16oz teas. I've tried many different types over the years. I drank Typhoo "Half-Caff" (a bag full of + decaf coffee in a 16 ounce mug) for about a year. And recently I tried Barry's again. But - when I reordered this…

Pros
  • Brilliantly Done
Cons
  • Disappear
