Review on ASA HS-1 Aviation Headset: Elevating Communication and Safety in the Skies by James Turpin

First time using my new headphones and they were great initially. The mic was great, the headphones were ok, they let in a little more ambient noise than I would have liked, but I could handle it. Then the left earpiece started turning off during my teacher's conversation and then passed out completely. I didn't notice it until 15 minutes later when it started in my right ear. The class was terminated prematurely. When we landed, I couldn't hear my instructor at all. I called the ASA about this and they said they couldn't help me because I bought it from a third party on Revain. There are several other reviews here that warn against this. I would avoid this headset. It is convenient for passengers only. Not for students.
